Preparation For Chaos (PFC)

FIREFIGHTERS MUST BE PREPARED FOR CHAOS

Peak performers (firefighters, police officers, heavy machine operaters, etc.) have physically and mentally challenging jobs which require specific skills and the capacity to endure intense stressors. Therefore, the training and fitness prescription of peak performers must be equally specific. Companies around the country have invested thousands of dollars on injury prevention programs that failed miserably.

These programs, though well-intentioned, are at best impractical and in many cases have proven to be deleterious.

While on the job, peak performers are not afforded the luxury of being able to employ the “proper lifting technique” or “appropriate breathing patterns” that so many programs teach. Rather, they must be prepared for chaos.

Their bodies must be prepared for optimal performance even in the most compromising positions. Therefore, instead of training to avoid these positions, our method of training develops strength and stability of every muscle and joint, regardless of position. This is what makes our program the only one of it’s kind in existence.

Our programs are customized to meet the needs of your company’s specific work requirements.

TESTIMONIAL:

“They came in knowing what the fire department’s all about — what we do, how we do it, and how we can’t be in the perfect lifting position every time.”

— Battalion Chief, Downey Southern California Fire Department
